Want to learn how to take better pictures?  In this session, we’ll cover digital photography tips, techniques, and common terms.  Whether you have a point-and-shoot or more advanced camera, this session will provide you with resources and ideas to help you use your camera effectively.  Feel free to bring your camera, if you wish.  Ideas and resources for using digital cameras in the classroom will be shared.

 

Instructional Tie:  Digital cameras are tools that can be used for all kinds of digital storytelling projects in the classroom.  Helping students understand some basic composition and camera functions will provide opportunities for creative and effective design in their projects.
